Mine are starting to look sorry for it self. Cant afford a proper refurb but has anyone tried spraying/painting them.

I sprayed mine. I cleaned the caliper with degreaser and wire brush to take all the c**p off. Taped everything that i didnt want to be sprayed i got a magazine for the bigger areas. Get a can of heat proof painted, gave it two coats and then 2 clear coats.

When spaying them will it clog up all of the clips and be a nightmare when you need to take them off?
Only thing stopping me from doing it :)

I pulled out the good pages
Shouldnt do, the garage i go to had no problem getting my old calipers off when i upgraded. But i may have been lucky.

I did the calipers on swmbo's GT with smooth hammerite, I just used a flat artist nylon brush........
