Best 1/4 Mile Tyres
« on: May 07, 2012, 03:28:43 pm »
As title really.. With a couple of considerations:

I'll be heading from Ireland to Gti International with them on so need to be road legal and also not shove me into a hedge at the first sight of water.

If it's raining over there I still want to put in a decentish time.

So am I better off sticking with the Michelin PS3's I have on already or a switch to R888's or similar??.

Bringing spare wheels isn't an option unfortunately.

Never used r888 myself but been told if it's raining they are a nightmare.

I think I'm going to try some a048 yokos and see what they are like

If you mean running ao48s in the dry then you're fine but if it is raining forget it! Semi slicks and water is a no go mate. However if you are meaning just for dry weather then they are awesome.

Get a five day weather forecast and go from there. The surface is crap at inters but good times can still be had i would just go for PS3's personally. I managed a 13.7 at inters with PS3's on and a KO3.

Cheers lads.

T.C. that was a good time for a K03, fair play!!.

I think I'll just stick with the PS3's.
