ARB question (I know, I know)

Have done abit of research on here and aware of what they are and what they do. My question is I am looking at getting a set of H&R springs with the possibility of a rear arb aswell. I have read of people on here only fitting the rear ARB. Is it necessary to fit both front and rear or can the rear just be fitted on its on?

Basically all I want to know is if I'm going to go down this route should it be all or nothing?

I will also be fitting WALK further down the line.

I was about to ask the same question. :)

Its a very tempting price and makes sense to get it all done at the same time but wonder if i really need both front and rear.

What are the OEM ARB sizes

I have rear arb along with walk and bilstein b8's with h&r springs. Personally i dont think you need front, only if you are going to be doing track days. With the rear under steer is greatly reduced and far less wallowy. So you dont need front aswell but thats just my opinion, sure someone will be along to contradict me though.  :signLOL:

Only got the a rear one set on medium with WALK and it transforms the handling of the car  :happy2:

Didn't bother with a front as i wont be tracking the car and if i got a front one it'd be set the same as the OEM one or it'd cancel out the rear's effect if i had it running stiffer

TBH I do like to 'drive' the car and my commute is mostly national speed limit twisties. I find most corners can be taken at 60mph but since having it I have never experienced any understeer.

But then again although I find it nice to drive, I think improvements can be made to make it feel tighter and more direct.

They aren't all adjustable but i chose an adjustable one because i thought 'what if the one i get isn't stiff enough or too stiff and then i'm stuck with it like that'  :wink:

TBH i've only tried mine on the medium setting as the softer setting is almost OEM so no point using and didn't want it to be too lively  :driver: and it's stayed like that because it feels good to me

22 or 24mm

i opted for just rear but as i had the engine changed this winter i also changed the front.
Must say the front ain't worth it unless you are doing loads of track days.
stick with the rear for 99% of what these cars are used for  :happy2:

24mm seem to be the ARB choice for "fast road"  :happy2:

The autotech rear ARB is a good option... 25mm 3 way adjustable.

I had the rear ARB fitted which improved body roll and helped the back end stay planted and come around more in the twistys then had WALK fitted later which combined has almost completely got rid of understeer and sharpened up turn in and feel through the steering wheel, no doubt if you chuck it fast enough into a corner it will understeer but not at the speeds i'm doing when it did horribly before  :happy2:
