youve not missed a spot  attention to detail, love it

although, captain negative here again.... saying your almost done, guessing you have done the rear tailgate too? alot of sound will bleed from there..... gunna guess you have, if so can i see some pics? i need to do mine and not really sure about the best method

ahh that why i said most of the soundproofing done dude (not all cus if you noticed aswell i havnt done behind the front door cards either yet), I've nearly done the bulk of it so i can build the car back up, then do removable panels as and when i get 5 minutes to carry on with the project.

cheers for the comments though.

with all the sound deadening going in, plus the audio and interior, is the airride setup to compensate for the weight when it comes to handling?

not that i care...dumped cars rule. fact. just wish i had the nerve

Your guess is as good as mine but thats why i've gone for a pretty hardcore air system, theres always compromises with modifying but the added weight wouldnt be anywhere near as much as having a full car (5 people and a boot full of stuff) so i'm guessing it should be fine, the interior won't weigh that much different, the audio isn't going to weigh the end of the world 1 amp a set of speakers and a ten inch sub neither is the airride to be fair so should be ok, only time will tell i suppose.

I'm not trying to build a track car and with air i'm guessing the handling isnt going to be as good as a properly set up car on coilovers, but then the majority of  coilover cars can't go up and down like air at the push of a button.

Dumped cars do rock

Got your quote Luke but will have to give it a miss at the moment cos needed a new Rns-510  but will deff be up for it when Ive got the spare cash.

By the way this project is gonna be some thing special going by some of the stuff you've been involved in i.e that golf with the mini dash board and a few other mk4's,

Well done mate  keep up the good work

If you want to email me pictures over of exactly what you mean i can have a look for you but yes you can work alcantara quite well if you check out the orange subaru on my website practically the whole interior is done in it including the dashboard.
