we are talking back in the late 1980s here. They were a very expensive and hard to come by wheel. In fact if you had seen a set they were most likely replicas. If you can take your mine back to that period... everyone else was rollin on 3 spokes.

i used to think Monzas were ugly especially before i owned a GTI but they grew on me over time and since owning a GTI i think they look great - unique and so much more interesting and classy than a whole host of OEM alloys on various other cars

Not a winning statement I imagine on a MK5 GTI forum but ETTO. Have Pescara's on my ED30 but liked the Monza's on my MK5 GTI. The Monza 2's are something else as well.

Not standard but OEM++ ............ mmm.
