The owner of this 2009 Focus RS in Frozen White contacted us as he was keen to have his car detailed whilst back over in the UK, as the owner lives in Germany for most of the year due to work.
Due to strict regulations with car cleaning in germany, the car isn't always kept as clean as possible despite the owners best efforts!
It was agreed that an enhancement detail would be carried out whilst applying a sealant to paintwork/wheels etc to ensure maximum protection due to the mileage the car covers. The main issue was contamination, which chemical decontamination and claying resolved, which can be seen in pics below!
The car was treated too:
- Wheels cleaned using AS Smart Wheels, vikan/lambswool brushes
- Tyres/arches cleaned using AS G101, vikan brushes
- Pre-wash via foam lance, to remove loose debris/dirt, high pressure rinse
- Bodywork, door shuts etc washed using Dodo Juice Supernatural Shampoo, 2BM and lambswool mitts
- Bodywork/wheels decontaminated using Iron X/Tardis, followed by clay with Auto Finesse grey
- Paintwork enhanced using Dodo Juice Lime Prime prior by DA (3M yellow pad)
- Paintwork sealed using Auto Finesse Tough Coat
- Wheels lightly polished by hand, sealed with Auto Finesse Mint Rims
- Tyres, plastics and rubbers dressed with Car Pro Perl, glass cleaned, exhaust/chrome polished
- Light interior detail, include mats/carpets clean, fabrics, plastics etc, glass cleaned.

Iron X was used by the bucket load, contamination was very evident!
