I am on the border of Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

This company based in Huntingdon supply the re map: http://www.viezu.com/Your-Vehicle/Volkswagen/Golf/Petrol/GOLF5-2.0-16V-GTI-TFSI/View-details.

I am prob going down the REVO route or R -Tech as they are also not to far from me . :happy2:

Just wanted to know if anyone has used them.

Never heard of them before, that doesnt mean they are bad, personally I would go the REVO or R Tech route. If you are going to Inters next month it might be worth waiting as im sure REVO will be doing some deals over the weekend.  :happy2:

As you said not heard of them and I have a Revo dealer 10 mins from work and R tech is only a 30 mile drive :happy2:

Would be good to hear if anyone has had experience.

Unless they have made changes to this map, I would not recommend it.

I had one for a while, and it requests far too much fuel at 2.5-3k, leading to cuts when running with the standard hpfp - not pleasant on the motorway and trying to overtake

Power wise, on JKM's dyno it was comparable to stage 1 Revo at peak power, but mid range (where you could see the car backing off due to the fuel request) it is about 30bhp/30lbft down on Revo.

:scared: Definately steer clear, I had a ChippedUK map years back and it was the biggest pile of crap out!

Takes me back - I remember him fighting to defend himself when his map didn't deliver similar results to Revo on the 1.8T

Jabbasport (Peterborough) might not be that far from you?, used them myself for both 1.8T and ED30 and they are great, they offer std map for GTI (Like Revo) or a custom map, R-Tech are also good (They did my DSG map).  :happy2:

It's not all about Revo

Totally agree - i've only mentioned Revo as it directly replaced my viezu map (through JKM).

As long as you choose a known respected vag tuner (i won't list them through fear of missing someone out) then the op with be in safe hands  :happy2:

Jabbasport not to far I, I have used them in the past when I had my MK4 Golf V5.

Not seen much info on here though about their Re-maps for the MK5.

R-tech seems to be getting good feedback at the moment so might go and see them.

If you can make it to Rtech I would Defoe recommend you get mapped there.my stage1 custom map is awesome and still haven't had the urge to upgrade for more power yet.  :driver:
