« on: May 29, 2012, 10:38:00 pm »
I changed my whole interior lights to led,s all works well and no errors just one thing peculiar -- every time I turn on ignition all lights come on fine--- as soon as I start the engine the footwell lights flashes 6 times before they go off - does anyone have any knowledge of what's happening

Hi mate, can't tell you why but can tell you that me and my mates with golfs also get this as well,  so just forget about it, one thing is though mine only flash 3 times not 6

sorry to hijack the thread but where are you getting the LEDs from? I got some non canbus ones from the bay and they were completely the wrong size.

Leo,

This happens to mine also, nothing to worry about! i scanned my car and didn't pick up any issues or errors with the LEDs being in so by the looks of things it seems like a common occurance.

they were to big to fit in the bulb holder, tbh it looked kinda strange never seen LEDs like that before. where did you order yours from?
