Just been re reading Aprils evo and decided a really love the pug1off 205gti. I always loved the 1.9gti when i nap a kid and this version brings it bang up to date.

It might be the wine talking but i reckon the ed30 could be swapped for that given half the chance.

no i love them, a 1.6 Gti was my first car on an 89 G.

Would not swap this one for my ED30 though.

But... I would like to have the money to buy another, take it to these guys for the full conversion and take it out at the weekends. The 205 was such a driving experience; the ED30 absolutely mullers it in the speed stakes but even after all the suspension mods it is hard to beat the 205 on a winding twisting B road - I remember on some bends you just did not need to brake just left your foot planted and embarrassed some far quicker cars in the bends :jumpmove:

The 205 is a fantastic drivers car, but dude swap for the ed30? That would take some big ones, respect if you do
