Electric folding mirrors
« on: June 18, 2012, 07:42:18 pm »
Hi folks,
Parked my beloved up 15 mins ago, folded electric mirrors in as usual. Have just got back in car, turned engine on and as per usual tried to unfold the mirrors, but no movement whatsoever.
Have tried switching on and off ignition numerous times but to no avail.
HELP?!?!
Off to R Tech first thing tomorrow morning. Don't fancy driving whole way with mirrors folded!
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Andrew

Have tried that, although with minimal force admittedly, didn't want to force them.
Are you suggesting that I should just apply more force?
Cheers
PS Is it possibly as simple a solution as just changing a fuse?

1st time had any mirror probs, but manually putting them bak clearly resolved it! Having a custom stage 1.5 remap, others call it Stage 2! Love the Powervalve exhaust, love the Twintake, and even with my Bluefin Stage 1 which I have at the mo, the car is an utter beast, so hoping tomorrow unleashes its fullest potential!! ;-)
