My first attempt at detailing my ride
« on: June 21, 2012, 02:18:18 pm »
Ok  I went out and bought a Megs G220 D/A the other week with a load of different polishes and attachments (3M/Megs/Dodo Juice to mention a few) and here are some brief shots of the end result after about 70hrs of correction. It's a little tight in my garage as you can see so it's the best I could do.....any thoughts guys and gals.  :drinking:

Finally all the stuff i used!

I have still to attack my swirls so wondering which pad & polish combo you used with your DA?

Cheers

Cheers all....well i used a cocktail/combo of different stuff, the mini Megs 3'' pads are awesome for localised scratches and swirls i used the black (finishing) mini mop with some 3M perfect it III blue top polish. top coat with dodo juice 'purple haze pro' then used Megs ultimate liquid wax to top it off.

Looks well, a black car always looks awesome when nice and shiney, but has to be one of the hardest to keep clean...
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

Silver is the way !
