Pure nitrogen in tyres
« on: June 23, 2012, 07:31:25 pm »
Does anyone run nitrogen In there tyres?

I have had a look on google and it is claimed that there is less pressure loss and possibly better tyre wear and more MPG

But is any of this actually true?

Not sure about MPG but i run Nitrogen in mine and the pressure hasn't changed in the past 5k miles and i monitor it pretty much weekly or before any long journey.

You get funky green caps too.

I'll give it a try I have to keep topping up my tyres every couple of weeks.

Think I'll go to kick fit and ask them to re fit the tyres and fill with N2
