Yes, but we have only seems pics of the WRC Street concept. Not the official production model.

The Polo R-Line has been announced and production pictures and prices nave been put up. £15195 for a 1.2 TSI 103 bhp.

Well they are making a Polo R , but it appears to be just a fancy set of mouldings to add to the range off polos it is as auto car says similar to a SEL or Match model .1.2 petrol version only , I think this would suit my son who's 17  fitted with one of them insure the box modules that keeps a eye on his driving

Sounds like your confusing R-Line, which is a trim level, and a performance R model.

Audi have decided to make an S1 quattro, so i find it hard to believe a Polo R won't follow suit

There was a bit about it in vw driver magazine ! Looks like it will be going in to production at some point 2.0l tsi engine ala mk6 gti with 230 bhp was the quoted figures if i remember correctly

according to the Audi website that was the A1 quattro limited edition. that was a LHD only that they made 333 of. they never intended to make more, but it was so well received they've decided to put an S1 into production.
