Stevies Jettaah
« on: July 08, 2012, 10:46:19 pm »
Hey guys only just joined up but thought I throw up a thread for my car so far.
I've had the jetta for about 3 months now and in that time a fair few changes which you'll see
It's only a 1.6 FSI SE but well specced with auto lights/wipers, cruise and all that jazz!

So anyways down to the progress so far and mores importantly piccies!  :pomppomp:

So this is it when I got

So let the tinkering commence....
So I got coilovers but didn't put them on till I got the wheels

 Then got the US tailgate

Sorted out how it sat at the back, dialled in some camber as the scrubbing was waaay bad,

Then I picked these up to freshen up the interior

They came with the leather door cards and ally trims aswell!

But the doorcards didn't fit the jetta?! So some light modification was needed

And these arrived the other day but have yet to fit them

So that's it so far, so if you made it this far thanks for looking and any comments are welcome!

Cheers Stevie

Looks great, some GTi headlights would set it off nice.

Cheers guys, oh and by the way the door card doesn't look like the pic, I swapped the top of the jetta doorcard onto the edition 30 doorcards so there 1 off!

Fair bit of an update for you guys.

First off got the headliner retrimmed, and fit edition 30 black plastics.

Then retrofitted an RCD510 and updated can gateway

Then bought another set of lm's this time in a staggered fitment

Then retrofitted an R32 MFSW

Also enabled drls

Are the rear wheels out to far to be legal?

I thought they have to be under the arch to be road legal.

nice car and looks hard as nails though. :happy2:

I've put negative camber on the rears so technically the tops are covered lol
There a 9j rim with a 15mm spacer

It was £50 for the headliner doing at A.S Pickerings which is local to me in Bradford, I asked MJ interiors as there in Bradford too but they wanted £200!! So I thought screw that, but I'm really happy with the the OEM-ness of it.

Looks absolutely beautiful  :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

Perfect colour/material combination of body colour and front grill and alloys. Also the Interlagos cloth suits metallic grey so well. Extremely stylish job (and I don't much like saloon cars).
