Need some help off a forum member
« on: July 11, 2012, 08:26:21 pm »
I took apart my arm rest and accidentally popped the spring out from the arm rest lid.

I can't for the life compress it to get it in mind you not do I have the tools to compress it in is there anyone here who could kindly put the spring back in between the plastic lugs?

In this pic the plastic crocodile clip is supposed to sit inside the plastic arm rest lug ( like the other end) but unless I find a way of compressing the spring (wrapped in duct tape) it won't compress enough for the crocodile lug to seat in.

Any help appreciated

Use a vice and squeeze it, then tie wrap the coils....place it back into location and snip the tie wraps!
