Stereo advice please

Need some advise, bought an ed30 recently but it only has RCD300, with ipod in centre arm-rest.
Need to upgrade as the sound is very poor on this HU, will both RCD510 and RNS510 give a sound improvement as HU replacement, and would it be worth getting one over the other for ipod use benefits, or are they both the same in that respect ?

For iPod benefits you would need an MDI kit to replace the cd changer/ipod dock in the armrest. I can't remember the exact differences in the units but you would get improved sound quality. Also these units don't have bluetooth built in so you would need to get that aswell if you required it

Also depending on the year of your car you may need to change the canbus to avoid battery drain
