MIL coming on after cambelt change
« on: July 17, 2012, 04:12:50 pm »
Had the engine light on twice now after cambelt change 5 weeks ago.
Firstly they replaced PCV Valve, now yesterday they say could be Cam shaft adjuster Valve.
Would you believe this could lie at the cambelt change as a problem. car drives fine
and starts fine.

Does the engine run okay as they might have got the timing wrong.

Engine runs fine. Doesn't go into limp mode when light comes on.

I'm just asking about the cam belt as others on a internet search have
found this problem

If the light is on then there will be a fault(s) stored. Post up the fault codes and maybe we can help disgnose the problem  :happy2:
