Tyre Help
« on: July 18, 2012, 03:42:40 pm »
Hey

I have a mk5 golf tdi which is not lowered at all.

I am running 18" at the moment with low profile tyres. I am looking to get to 17" could I put normal tyres on or would I still need to run Low Profile?

what do you call "low profile"? i don't think 225/40R18 is all that low personally!

if you go for 17" wheels you'll need 225/45R17 tyres

you could try going for a more comfort oriented tyre instead

Please exercise common sense. He obviously meant 17".

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
