Best trackers
« on: August 04, 2012, 04:18:00 pm »
Need a tracker, hoping there are some recommendations on here.

After something with GPS and GSM combined coverage so the signal cannot be easily blocked, remote shut down, and movement sensors, incase someone tries to lift the car off the ground for example to steal with no keys.

I think its a good idea, even on a golf.

It would piss me off if it took the police a few weeks to find my car then they give it back to me. I'd want it found before the tards get to drive it far.

I read about them alot on MLR, as evo's have some of the best systems...but they dont come with out their issues.

Here you go, been watching it for a while OEM too......

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUDI-TRACKER-MONITOR-STOLEN-VEHICLE-RECOVERY-SYSTEM-/190665760100?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c64909d64

We use tracker at work and so far the systems are flawless! It's so good big companies can now use it to monitor their employees out in the company cars, down to where they were and what they're doing at a specific time and date.

Big tip tho, don't have 1 fitted on your Audi from the dealers. For what ever reason they feel it can only be fitted in 1 spot and refuse to fit it anywhere else. Guess who knows exactly where it's fitted

I'm led to believe the installer is not to inform the customer where its put.

Try Richter sport.  Only in MK so not far from where the car currently lives.
