the majority of sheffield is soft water

I bought mine through Statllers, but from memory I think it is Westfield wholesale chemicals. You need a fairly big order for delivery though as they sell it by the pallet load!

I use filtered tap water as here in Sheffield we don't have any issues at all with limescale. If you live in an area like mine then you should be okay doing this as long as the methanol mix is used and not stored too long. Distilled water lasts longer as a mix, but even then there are limits.
i can get methanol at any quantity £1 per litre

The car is back from the paint shop and a good job even if I do say so :happy2:

No close-ups yet as the car is in for the WMI fitting and a few other bits.

Parked up in the garage last week and found I'd hit a milestone.

This week outside Statllers there were a few variations of 2.0TFSI cars to choose from...

Favorite colour R. Shame about the vandalism, had a spout of key'ing down my road until they caught the fella doing it. A 60 year old bloke on his way home from the pub. Must of done 10 cars in a row on about 4 or 5 occasions.

That's what caught our local culprit eventually (CCTV), didn't put him off doing it though.
