Haha that's madness. Can't imagine what it goes like now. Was quick enough when you took me for a spin when at R-Tech  :happy2:

Oh it is MUCH quicker now than it was at R-Tech Matto.  :happy2:

Goes like stink by the sounds of it. Fair play though mate for all the work you've put in.  :happy2:

Went to a dyno shoot out day at an Awesome GTI on Sunday. For comparison the cars were .....

Audi S3 stage 2+ with decat
My Golf R with GIAC extreme race file and water methanol injection. 200 cell cat.

The runs were done in 4WD shoot out mode on a Dynojet and figures are at the crank.

Basically peak figures showed .....

APR - 379.59bhp and 423.65lbft (drawn on in ink off APR graph)
GIAC +WMI - 392.08bhp and 462.67lbft (green line on graph)

The full story reveals that torque is held much longer on WMI and power builds earlier.

Eg. Torque is held over 400lbft on WMI for over 2,000rpm whereas on 2+ it simply doesn't hold and immediately drops back to 380lbft

Similarly power after 2,500rpm is made faster with WMI.

Eg. At 3,500rpm WMI makes 40bhp extra, by 4,000rpm wmi makes 60bhp extra.

This is NOT an APR v's GIAC it is purely to attempt to show how WMI makes power. I'm sure similar results could be achieved from any equivalent stage2+ car by adding WMI.

....That's very impressive and shows what great returns folks can gain if they install WMI  :happy2:

Thanks for explaining it in prose instead of just leaving it to the graph (which isn't displaying very clearly - Needs the background lightening).

You can DEFINITELY feel the difference Mike. It is almost like mapping the car from stock! :jumping:

Amazing results John and you should be commended for trying something other than APR or Revo. Can we have a full spec list of the car now please?  :happy2:
