The L04XX without wmi does the 100-200kph in 8.7 seconds, which is faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. :happy2:

Yes, it will be next year as I need to ensure the DSG/engine is ok at stage 1 / stage 2+ / wmi first.

....You might then call it a 'LobaJoba'.

It's great that you can bring in all your previous experience of modding your Ed30, John...................  And that Statller's is your back yard!

that's crazy fast John for just stage 1!  :happy2:

Would like to see the results for a manual R as obviously this is with the help of electronics!

This is the reason i don't like dsg no input from the driver it's just foot down let the car do the work but if you are just after numbers then yeah it's great but I will like to see this done with the correct box where the driver controls every gear change and rev. It's still very quick for the mods you can't knock it at all

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Two swift gear changes to get to sixty mph and no launch control in a manual would lose over a second, so a 5.0s possible, but I doubt many will get that.

I had to rev past 7k rpm holding 2nd gear to get the 5.4 at Inters. And then I'm only 2WD.

So with 4WD in a mapped manual Golf R I think sub 5 is definitely possible

This thread has made me look at Golf R's for sale........you bugger.

And I told my wife the Ed35 was a keeper....

I just like the idea of a 0-60 in four seconds in a hatchback.
