I think John's referring to how the K04 initially spools up.

320fltbs aint right. My stage one made ~310-315ftlbs at SRR a month or so ago.

Whats the k04 hump?

It is the torque spike that occurs at 3-4krpm. Normally peaks 20lbftish higher than the rest of the torque curve. Like below

Even on nitrous the ED30 still had the "K04 hump"

Golf R gone.

I would expect it to look something like that of Dom on his Ed30.

How come this wasnt found before when they loaded it?  I would have thought logging it would showed this up.

I don't see how logging would prove it. Actual and requested boost, etc within limits NFF.

Only way is a dyno printout. When you compare it with the S3 is that on the latest revision 2+ file?

how does ther DSG limit the power?  Is it through timing or boost, because that would surely be notable in the logs just by looking at the requested outputs

So the gearbox says don't give me any more that 200NM. The engine then only requests 200NM and the car then makes 200NM.

I would expect that boost would be down on a comparable car that was supposedly running the same file.

in that case wouldnt the logs would show the car requested less load than a normal S2+ file

Would imagine the problem is the DSG flash for sure, it needs more work on the TL's, (if that's possible with this company?)
It looked like a bone stock torque limit when we dyno'd the car
I would imagine all B-T-F parameters are being limited as the throttle may be closing to back the torque off

Thing is the car didn't really sound that aggressive on the rollers either, and we did run it quite a few times

I will load a pic up onto my build thread with the dyno graph.  First run peaked at 315lbft and the second at 320lbft.  Then just held that until 6k before it started to drop.  I like the way mine is like that as its front wheel drive.  Maybe its just the Revo map?

It gives similar benefits as a fwd car. It will move the power to the wheel with the most grip before the electronics start shuffling power and cutting power by braking the wheels with least grip.

So in theory would that help you more in the corners or in straight line launches too John?
And is that front axle fitment then?

Of course not suggesting you need another Quaife but was curious how ATB diff could help a 4WD Haldex car. Unless you need to be chasing Jari Matti Latvala etc.

Hohenster fitted a drexler diff to the front axle of their ttrs and gained just under 2 secs a lap alone from it!  :surprised:

When it was loaded I was stage 1, so it didn't really affect anything, just made the car a little perkier than it would have been.
Golf R gone.
