Sorry if I'm missing the point but does it not take only 10 minutes to raise the torque limit??.

It did when mine was done. (Custom tuner in Ireland).

Why won't they just do this for you.

This is exactly the point it can be done but they won't and are making excuses
Wrong really & just pushes more and more people away from using them

Another example of JBS's customer service... I've heard nothing but bad things about these guys, suprised anyone uses them tbh...

If you are really lucky they will offer you outside.

Hurdy,

As you know i have Revo on car, and HGP on DSG. Everything works perfectly, so from my point of view JBS is eating sh!t.

@poverty: i'm still waiting for an R with more hp than mine to appear. Not being envious, but i will be happy that i won't be alone anymore here in stratosphere ;)

On the ED30 I had Giac DSG and Revo engine maps and they worked perfectly.

Simply cannot understand why C-C's torque de-limit shouldn't when all the other parameters work perfectly.

Its boring being at the top on your own that I can see. It will be good to see another big bhp 2.0TFSI!

Hey John, I hope you get sorted and get your refund.
I did the 200 mile round trip to Regal in Southampton this morning after my nightshift to get Chris to do a read of my ECU for the GIAC DSG map.  It seems that GIAC couldn't get their finger out until this was done.  I hope the trip was worthwhile.  Chris also told me that the GIAC software (standard) would only launch u at 3500rpm, but you could request higher if you liked  :innocent:
Miracles may happen, and overnight tonight (they're 8 hours behind) they could be writing my map for me to go back to get it flashed tomorrow, who knows.
Either way, I'm sure we'll have a laugh at the GTi festival on Sunday - both of us not happy with what we've got  :signLOL:
2010 3dr phantom black S-Tronic S3 - BCS TBE with 3½" DP - LOBA LO4xx turbo - LOBA HPFP - Revo CAI - H&R 25mm lowering springs - Forge 11mm spacers - RS4 fuel Pressure valve - THS intercooler - H&R front and rear ARB's - AEM water methanol injection

Hahaa, cheers Justin.

I hope you get yours sorted for Sunday and then I can see how much faster a stage 2+ with a de-limited DSG map can be. Steve at Statllers can do mine when I move to a GIAC DSG map, so not far to go for me :happy2: GIAC may only have to "copy, paste" yours on to mine...LOL

I only recently emailed JBS about a DSG map for mine. I think ill drop that plan.  Out of interest how come REVO haven't released a DSG map, do thry not have plans for one?  With any look GIAC sort out a new code for the dsg snd problems solved.

From what i gather APR have bypassed the limiters on their R now.  Not sure if its a dsg map or ecu tweak though
