Stealth performance FTW

You better get some air ride then lol

You lost me there?

You lost me there too..

I get him. . . I think

Air ride can be run at stock height or as low as you want so in theory it's a kinda "stealth mod"

Am I right Pikey??  :pomppomp:

Just run a resonated system.. I wouldnt run stock cat back on a big turbo car

Wouldnt do exhaust temps any favours

I think the resonated systems are too loud lol

I also speaked to Aks about this too as I want a big hp car without the loud exhaust....he replied sayin NO,it can't be done

Best way to do it would be a 90mm decat downpipe, And an exhaust with one silencer. That way you'd maximise flow and keep the noise down "a bit". It wouldn't be exactly quiet tho

He is correct.all you can do is make it drone less on part throttle.

Can you imagine peoples thoughts if that had a Golf R parked on the end only for it to go quickest lol

I also speaked to Aks about this too as I want a big hp car without the loud exhaust....he replied sayin NO,it can't be done

He is correct.all you can do is make it drone less on part throttle.

My thought is that from personal experience on my Octavia at S2+ with abefore/after cat back exhaust (Non res) dyno and also seeing the same done to Stage 2+ KO4 cars, the gains from the catback alone were less than 5hp. 5Hp when your looking at Stage 2+ outputs of K03 280hp and K04 350hp is only about 1.5% gain.  Even if it made 10 Hp at stage 2+ (which id be doubtful) that would only be around 3% net gain which at typical stage 3 outputs wouldbe around 15hp.

When you say it cant be done, do you mean on an ultimate performance level?  Surely you can run a stock cat back with a BT?

Back on topic

Pistons, rods and balance shaft delete. Errr, and stage3 head, and manifold and 8 injectors etc etc.

Whats a balance shaft delete?

I take it if your going for 8 injectors your looking at 7xxhp?  Whats the theoretical max you can achieve with the current 4 injector setup?

Balance shaft delete is replacing it with the 1,8T oil pickup solution, saving weight and allowing for a bigger amount of oil in the swamp along with less inertia  :happy2:

Before (what is being replaced)

After
