Very, very nice car!

One question: is this the original position for the harness? I am especially confused by the anchorage points on t floor.

yeah thats the original position, the rear of the car is has an aluminium boxing over where the rear seats would be, within this there are 4 slots for the harness to go into then they are anchored to the floor of the car, not 100% by what

a few people have changed the harnesses to wrap around the straight bar at the back this does however just leave 4 holes in the floor etc

mods revieced so far

a modified air box with an uprated panel filter, spoke to paul at rs tuning and this is the best setup on a standard turbo

mods to come - boost brackets

The purpose of them is to stop the boost sensors lifting when under load and possibly leaking air therefore loosing power. These brackets keep the sensors firmly in place stopping this potential issue completely. A few people on the forum have experienced this problem especially when running higher boost after remaps.

so some pics

i was possibly going to the ring a week as yesterday but unfortunatly the ferry is a joke of a price, only because of how late ive left booking it and its not worth the extra coin for the risk of terrible weather this late on in the year

so i am looking at a track day at blyton on 14th of this month instead and a go pro

here are some pics from a couple of weeks ago, keeping up with maintenance of it

Blyton is great track if it is your first one in the car. There is lots of run off and only 2 places were you have to be really cautious.  :driver:

Deffo the best colour.  Worked on a few of these over the years. Fitted hybrids, downpipes, coilovers, bigger brakes etc.  It's still to see how a car with so little negative camber at the front can handle so well and still have even tyre wear.

Best mod is the floating disc upgrade.  Seen loads of stock discs with 3mm cracks appear after track days.  I've got some lightly used rs29 rear pads if you want them?

Alex. Don't these have that fancying front hub assembly? My money is on that being the reason... Same as on the RS200 Clio.

Man's car. Use it well, too many get wasted by detailing nerds.
