I am having a little dispute with a vw garage about work I what doing on my car I am just wondering if anyone has the email address so I can contact then regarding my issue

on the same tune... anyone have a name & address for a complaint letter...

my folks went to buy a golf twice now first at warrington who were not interested in the slightest as ontheir initial trip they wanted to review what options there like model, colour etc along with optional extras like AC and sat nav etc..... only to be told to come back when they actually want to make the order...

Then a trip to liverpool vw ended with the guy pushing and pushing for a deal that involved them taking finance out on the purchase... something they are not interseted in as they are selling  there current fiesta and clio and then buying outright.... once again sales people seen hardly interested they were due to come back to them and yet so far not one call....

Now they are not buying a fancy model or a GTI but its still 20 odd grand... Ive told them to write a letter of complaint but to bypass the local dealers and go straight to HQ but was hoping someone might have some details...

It amazes me how rude the sales people act. All VW garages seem to be the same.
I've only had one experience of another garage, this was a Nissan garage but they had a 2nd hand ED30.

This guy was exactly the same.

Maybe they make so little on cars they need to sell the finance.
I got so pissed off.

I told them I wanted to spend 14k on a car and that I would pay cash.
They weren't happy with this and pushed and pushed for me to have finance.

No matter how much I alas I wasn't interested they kept on.
In the end I walked away.

I always thought sales people neede to make sales. In the car industry it seems differen, they just seem on a mission to be very rude and piss people off.

I don't understand how they stay in a job.

Try the head of the franchise for the dealer they went to. Direct as you like then.

I had issues when I purchased my car last year, I contacted VW Care and they were brilliant !

Sorry I dont have the number I will try and get hold of it !

VW Care called up the dealer and basically told them to do what I have requested !

Mate I wouldn't even buy a vw if that's the case get a different car completely or go second hand and save a 3 grand. That's disgusting!! I went to Liverpool vw for warranty work and it's a nightmare all got sorted but the amount Of phones calls and complaints then they chipped my bonnet it's a pain in the arse. They usually arnt intrested unless spending money with them. But clearly even then they arnt bothered so much for businesses in recession.

I recently traded my golf in for another with a vw dealer and the amount of hassle I had trying to contact various different sales guys was amazing! You fill in their online forms for them to contact you and you never hear from them!

One dealer I rang the sales guy says I'll get back to you with a part exchange price, four hours later rings up offers me £6000 I'd had online valuations of £7600 and £7300 (we buy any car offered £7100!!) so I tell him £6000 is no good, I'll get you a better price he says! then never returns the call.

I found a good dealer in the end, he offered finance I told him I already had a loan in place, he asked what rate I'd got (5.7%) and he left it alone after that because they were offering nowhere near that!

They all try to offer extras paint protection and warranty, (mine had the balance of manufactures warranty and I enjoy cleaning my car) just be ready and say you don't want them. Although I did get gap insurance for a £100.

spoke to my parents about getting one second hand, but they are retiring and it will be the last car they decide to buy so they wanted a new one that they could spec out as they wanted... as for VW I have a GTI my sister has a TDI and compared to the last 3 or 4 cars they have had they feel they are much better so have their mind set on a golf...
