Headlights?

Apologies if this is totally obvious but are the Std headlights on a mk5 Gti exactly the same as any other mk5 golf??? Mine are starting to look awfull, totally perished so wanting to replace them with some better 2nd hand ones. Tried polishing and a bit wary of the old wet sanding method and not sure if they're beyong this anyway.

The gti ones are black where as normal golfs are chrome iirc

If you're gonna source some second hand ones, I've give them ago at wetsanding them. Someone did a tutorial on here.

Std is chrome , gt is grey , gti is black I believe
