There is no ipod out on the iPhone 5 even with the adapters so does that mean that the MDI in the VW range is now obsolete?  :fighting:

im hearing reports of play controls (next track, pause, volume etc) not being compatible with the new connector.

good job ive got bluetooth streaming in both my vehicles!! haha

Doesn't that just allow you to charge the iPhone over a USB cable?

A bit more reading and it appears that IPOD OUT only came with IOS 4 so if the Ipod classic works with the MDI then the new iPhone 5 will as well  fingers crossed

There is no coverage from 3 where I live

I really want to go with orange as when they become EE and launch 4G it will be the only UK network that will be compatible with the iPhone 5 on 4G

But it looks like I will just be going with whatever network can supply the sim on time

Just about the lightning adaptor it says thats some accessorys are not supported !
So i wouldnt be so sure that it will still work on MDI, i wont be ordering one until someone confirms its working
