I am stuck on a little desk next to the hotel reception because the wi-fi doesn't work in my room, i pulled a right face at first. but then realised right in my eyes line of view is to hot hot looking receptionist.
So you will have to put up with me getting a little excited.

A hot receptionist and no pics? Get her to sit on your veedub and take some pics!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Nathan - Have you got any good sharp pics of your new(est!) rims actually on your car, please?

I meant to take some pics at the meet but you know what it was like and I forgot!!

Reason is that I'm preparing a How-To/Problem-solving topic on white worm and illustrating the various options - Yours being one option and mine another option.

Thanks - Just post any pics in this thread and I'll transfer :happy2:

Just a word of advice (to take or to leave), Nathan The Green Rim King:

It's best not to apply any tyre dressing on any part of the tread at all - Even the shoulder. Stop it on the top edge of the flat wall which carries the graphics. Reason is that if you are cornering very hard, you want grip/adhesion to work on the shoulders and tyre dressing works against you achieving this.

if you are cornering very hard, you want grip/adhesion to work on the shoulders and tyre dressing works against you achieving this

I noticed this the first time I used tyre dressing and didn't apply it carefully enough (well actually too much) so ended up getting it on a little bit of the tread. When I went out later that day, car was having difficulty swinging round a roundabout at speed where the previous weeks, it was handling fine.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
