Luxuary pack moving passenger mirror?
« on: October 06, 2012, 08:42:47 pm »
Right, my car has the luxuary pack 1 fitted I.e. rear reading lights, folding mirrors, high line display, cruise, heated seats, auto lights etc. However, I believe the option also meant the passenger mirror moved down when reverse was engaged to allow you to see the kerb. When engaging reverse my passenger mirror doesn't do this so is their something I should be looking, doing or setting? Help!!!

Hello bear,

On the highline display, go into the settings menu and make sure the option for the parking mirror function (cant remember the exact terminolgy) is activated.
On the drivers door, make sure the knob to adjust the wing mirrors is set to "L".

Hope this helps.

thanks for that rich, advice wasnt for me but great i didnt know my pass mirror did that lol,,,, works a treat,,, yep stick it in L, query though,,, i understand i have to physically put the wing mirror onto L, and by the looks of it when i am finished reversing i have to put it back to the middle setting to get the mirror back to normal hight in mine ? surely this should be automatic when you take the car out of reverse ?
also you say go into the high line setting ? what exactly is the high line settings ? is it just the normal trip computer cause i cant see any settings etc, can i poss have the lux pack with no high line settings ? other quest as well,,, i understand the other setting on the wing mirror controls is for folding / and heated mirrors but when you go into the car and your windscreen is frosty you press the defrost button on the climate control but the symbol looks the same as the rear screen heaters,,,, you would think with a similar icon it would mean the front windscreen is heated also but it isnt--- right ---?
sorry for all the noob questions but still trying gto figure out my toys lol and thanks again

also you say go into the high line setting ? what exactly is the high line settings on mine (i have the steering wheel buttons), i can access a settings menu on the screen to change various settings such as lights at home, anti hijack and various other ones. ? is it just the normal trip computer cause i cant see any settings etc, can i poss have the lux pack with no high line settings ? not sure about this other quest as well,,, i understand the other setting on the wing mirror controls is for folding / and heated mirrors but when you go into the car and your windscreen is frosty you press the defrost button on the climate control but the symbol looks the same as the rear screen heaters,,,, you would think with a similar icon it would mean the front windscreen is heated also but it isnt--- right ---? you have one button for activating the rear windscreen demister and one for directng the airflow for the fron windscreen. the buttons should work indendently from each other

What year model cars do you guys have as the feature was only introduced in 07 and later cars with rear park sensors and/or luxury pack.
Without traction power is nothing!
