rabbit stearing wheel badge
« on: October 12, 2012, 08:07:49 pm »
was thinking of buying a rabbit stearing wheel badge i seen on e-bay, was wonderring if anyone else has one or knows if the vw badge is easy to come off as mine is pretty scratched
i see the rabbit one is self adhesive but it looks a bit flimsy as it is aluminium and was thinking there may be better quality ones out there
i heard someone say they had to take their stearing off to replace theirs,,, surely it just pries off ?

Dont try and take the existing badge off!! It is connected to the airbag somehow. Different badges just have to stick on top of the existing one.

looks ok, hard to see in the pic how far it sticks out i guess,,, was just thinking something - if you needed to allign a steering wheel you would pressume the original cap would pop off to give you access to the inner stearing wheel bolt would you not,,,, just trying to think logically here

If its only £4 and it looks sh*te, chuck it in the bin! At that price it's disposable Buy it and Have a look. No idea what mine is made off, a resin of some sort I imagine. It is raised, and if you look at it, it is stuck onto the VW emblem.
