Fitted the GTI front spoiler/splitter I got from Eccleshall on here over the weekend.

Before

After

Still undecided on the outer grills overrider things, do I paint the chrome silver or wrap them all gloss black again?
Thanks for looking in

Love the new look fella  :happy2:

Looks spot on with that splitter!!

You got a part number?! Also did it need much to get it to fit!?  :happy2:

I've got myself a set of them! They fit nice too and look a little more like the posh climate-control jobbies  :happy2:

I agree! I think keep the chrom as its very subtle and if they were wrapped they would stand out like eyebrows

X2 on the Part No. if you noted it down, Looks so much better with it!  :ashamed:

Getting closer in my mission to remove the chrome from my car, wrapped bumper user-rider things with silver wrap.
Sorry for the iphone picture I think I left our camera at the Gadget show week before last.

Some nice touches on this car bud. Me being picky would say it needs another 15mm lowering but aside from that, as an all around package it's nicely done.
The ventilation controls look interesting... care to share the link?

Think they look better at night than they do in the day, mind.  :happy2:

I'm loving the car mate. It's nice to see a few Jetta's on here too.

Thanks for the comments xjay the car is not sat on coilovers it's sat on a B12 kit, so no adjustments.

Yeah, I should have clarified sorry. I read you are on the Pro Kit? So swapping to Sportline springs would have it sitting beautifully.  :driver:
If I've read incorrectly, my bad haha

The picture from page 2 of build thread with RED springs (pro kit spring are black) and even says sportline on the side of box! And an eager son!

Had a play with more gloss black 3M wrap today in my quest to remove chrome from my car.
Had a go at the rears before taking pictures and still lost camera so only iphone pics sorry.
Before

After

Possibly next is the roof in gloss black but thats too big a job for me to do, need to find a pro in Bristol.
Got some wind deflectors off ebay to trial fit later on.
