Rear badge removal - non 3D type.
« on: October 18, 2012, 07:50:06 am »
Seen a few threads on this but all seem to describe taking the whole boot handle mechanism out, on a non 3D (2005) version can I just prize the badge away from the handle with a sharp knife or something?

Marko - Best way to get it looking better is to mask it up and respray?

Ah, that is not good news was hoping to get this off and get it wrapped along with the front, might have to have a look at spraying it instead.

Yeah, doesn't come off i'm afraid. That's why I changed to a newer type. Probably needs sanding down or something if you're going to respray it, or it will continue corroding underneath. If you touch the whiteworm you can feel it is slightly raised above the surface.
