I currently have a regular HID kit with some CANBUS warning cancellers (as add ons) on my car.
Do other people have this set up and face problems? i.e. when the lights are on auto and switched, when you turn the ignition the lights come on. When you turn the engine on the lights go off momentarily and then once the engine is on they should come again. Except one doesn’t. I have to turn the lights off and back on again to get them both to be on.
I wonder if the better quality CANBUS ballast would resolve this?
I'm lead to believe Retro fitting OEM means you have to code the lights in (?) how come you don't have to do that with HID Kits? (Or do you?)
