Just had a skim through (so apologies if I missed something) but there is no details of each car's mods and half them seem to be missing from the list of results
Also, it says the Golf R is 234KW (which equated to around 314bhp IIRC), yet it runs 11's?!?!?! I call BS!!! Unless of course it's just a Golf R shell?

With the sort of money that is spoken about in this test, the results are pretty lame to be honest (with exception of the Golf R). I assume the other Golf R's were manual also (judging by their 0-60 times)? As we all know how easy it is to get daft 0-60 figures from modded .:R's with DSG.

254kW WHP though.  Its putting down slower times than the APRUK stage 3 Golf R and thats about 50-60hp down on the stage 3+ cars of Dan and steve.

That would explain things a little better then..  Shame everything else was poor though.

GIAC Golf R is also low 12's at stage 2+ equivalent

My Golf R on Revo stage 2+ (limited torque) did a 12.6 at full weight and normal tyres.

I'd say most stage 2+ software and a DSG map will give a Golf R DSG low 12's on the strip.

Adding WMI gets you into the high 11's.

Just a Stage 1 tune and an intake will get you into the high 12's :happy2:

With the Golf R and DSG it is almost as much about the DSG map settings as it is the engine tune. :driver:
Golf R gone.

No matter who the tuner is, all they've won is the "who can throw the most amount of money at a car, and bend the rules in their favour" prize.

These are meaningless.
Sideways yo!
