Airbag Light 01218
« on: November 02, 2012, 06:34:48 pm »
Had an airbag light on for a few months but Im looking to sell soonish and would like to get it sorted out. My local garage checked the fault code for me and its '01218 Side Airbag Igniter Passenger Side -N200 Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent'.
Any ideas how to sort this out? Assuming there no quick fix I will have to take it somewhere. Any suggestions for somewhere near the Woking area? Thanks.

Thanks for helping me out. Im glad that its probably only a loose connection. Problem is that I dont have vagcom, soldering kit or a place where I can work and do this myself! Anywhere in the Woking (or Surrey/Berkshire) area that someone can recommend I take it for the work and to clear the fault code? Or should I just bend over and go see my local stealer? Thanks
