Already looking into a half & half kit. (Remove helper on the front & inserts in the rear spring cup - but still a coilovers kit) but £1600!!

May have to upgrade brakes too - GTi brakes are going to look a little small in the rims

I'm thinking about going for a set of wide 17's due to the price of 18" tyres being £100 a corner. I've been offered a set of 8.5x17 & 9.5x17 BBS RM rims in the correct 5x112 / 57.1 / et35/40 with 225/45/17 tyres

Just had to replace my drivers side wiper arm - it just stripped the inner of the arm on the mechanism - its a soft alloy insert that takes on the imprint of the splints on the mech - take them off too often (fitting suspension/brakes etc) and dont put them back on in the exact same place - the alloy gets worn away!

£38 worse off!!

Also the jetta is going to be helping me move house tomorrow!

Where did you find the R line fog grilles? I've been looking for ages with no luck.

Been offline for a while (moving house!)

Damaged the Jetta which moving stuff in the boot! One dead Sub! (right through it to the mag with a curtain pole!!) And its a discontinued model so no way to just replace it! Oh well I'll just have to get out my old competition equipment! infinity Airfree 12" 1200W sub & a Black Widow 2400W Digital mono out of my old Fabia! I've been warned It may pop out the rear window if the air pressure gets to high!

As per wheels - definately going to get wide 17's and run 215/45 on the front and 225/45 on the back = lower and no scrubbing!
