Edition 30 - New wheels page 3 =]
« on: November 06, 2012, 02:24:02 am »
Hi guys,

I decided to go down the new car route and have something im going to keep for a very long time, so i took my time and thought about cars... even started a thread to see what others would get for ideas!

i looked at C30's, e46 M3's, S4's, S3's etc etc then i had a flash back to a car i was meant to buy 3 years ago... and suddenly my mates one came up forsale when i asked him about it... so after abit of heeing and hawing deciding if it was the right car for me... i picked this up 2 weeks ago:

Edition 30

sadly i wont be getting it on the alfards...

the decat i got with it too, brand new un-fitted so that will go on after its MOT

will come on oz ultraleggera's!

The spec is is:

        352bhp
        360lb/ft torque
        APR FMIC
        APR RSC turbo back echaust
        Autotech HPFP
        Rs4 fuel regulator
        Uprated intank pump
        Evolution bov
        Dblias intake
        GIAC remap
        VWR engine mounts
        Uprated paddle clutch
        VWR diff
        Dash mounted boost gauge
VWR engine mounts anti lift kit
Neuspeed front & rear anti roll bar upgrade
        KW varient 3 coilovers
OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 with good year f1's
2 piece Tarox 10 pot calipers with grooved discs
S3 rear brakes with grooved discs
        HID kit

first thing i done wasn't to the car, it was the key:

all the little touchs and all that!  :happy2:

 :driver:

cheers,

Andy

I do like the OZ's but if i got it on the Alfards then it would of still been my mates car in my eyes as everyone seen it that way but i will be changing the wheels again at some point!

Cheers though guys :-)

Looks a very well sorted ED30! Personally I love the look on the Ultraleggera's - I'm biased though as I had these on my old mkiv...they're so light!

Alright guys,

Haven't got any where with the clutch as the company that fitted it are useless f*cking tw@ts! however, it dosen't seem to be slipping anymore... it must have not been worn in properly with it not being driven daily! all seems well now...

so in celebration ive bought (in the middle of buying) this instead of a clutch...

Your car looks like the complete package mate.  :happy2:

Nice bike as well.

Surely not much days left for using the bike this year though??

Nah she won't see the road until next year now as ive just passed my test last month so i don't think it's wise jumping on it while the roads are slippy  :surprised:
