speed awareness ? 66 in 50?

I got a speeding ticket today.  On the back it says you can do the course if your doing under 64 is there any give or take? Or 100% under.
Cheers

afaik the 64mph figure is fixed as it's worked out on a percentage over the speed limit plus a fixed number.
Without traction power is nothing!

I believe the speed awareness course is usually offered at their discretion - so 64mph will be the guideline.  I think they look at each case by merit i.e road conditions, traffic etc.

So fingers crossed they might offer it you

If they don't you can ring up and ask..?

I missed the deadline to respond on mine so I wasn't offered a course.  I rang them to query this and although it was my fault they offered to still let me do the course, but provided i could do it before the deadline.

Mine was easily within the speed threshold however, but even so its worth a call - worst case they say "no" and you're no worse off?
