To fit or not to fit...?!
« on: November 15, 2012, 10:14:53 pm »
I managed to pick up an RS4 fuel pressure regulator valve for the right money but now I'm in two minds whether to get it fitted or not. I'm aware it's a pain in the arse to fit and therefore I'm starting to wonder is it really worth doing. Is there much of a gain to actually having one fitted? All opinions and advice are very welcome, especially from you who have done this mod. (I'm currently running at Stage 2+ with all necessary hardware etc.) Thanks in advance. :popcornsoda:

what power are you running now?

the valve gives the hpfp more headroom to work and if you want to get maximum power out of 2+ you should fit the valve.

get it on.

Berg that's what the devil on my shoulder's been saying! I'm currently running 350+ bhp and obviously have a hpfp. She's running well (I use her as my daily) but this valve has been tempting me for a while. U think its definitely worth my while then??

you probably dont NEED it but like RR says, do you really need half the mods you have on the car? Mine is running 361bhp last time out, is this anything to do with the valve? Who knows, not me thats for sure. I would PM Stattler Steve, PDT or Vrs Alex for their opinions.

Interested in outcome of this...  :popcornsoda:

What other mods do you have?

I was always told not to bother as with a HPFP and a good condition cam follower it will meet the demands of the map...
