Im a Man Utd fan and hate all 3 players BUT... There is no denying there talents.

Torres - When he come to Liverpool he was WORLD CLASS, he gave any defender a torrid time. His finishing, pace, movement was what made him such a good striker and he punished teams. Even our Vidic he terrorised. He got injured and it effected him. I also think the loss of Alonso which gave Gerrard that bit more freedom effected how Torres played.

Tevez - Was always rated when he was in Argentina, then when he came to the prem with Mascherano after the first 4 games I thought what was all the hype about? Then all of a sudden he was on fire and kept them up on final day of the season, he scored the volley from the chip over against us which was the goal for safety. When he joined us Fergie didnt really give him a chance as he will always pick Rooney. I think he was a quality player though, whenever he did play for us didnt really have anything bad to say about him. Then he left for Man sh*tty and well, then he became a ****  :signLOL:

Suarez - We was linked with Suarez for a couple of summer transfer windows before he joined Liverpool, I already knew he had a talent just needed a bigger platform to showcase. Once he came to Liverpool he looked immense immediately, was unlucky in his first few games not to of scored more. I hate Suarez probably more than the other 2 but this season he has come on leaps and bounds for Liverpool. His work rate is insane, his movement, timing of the runs, the way he bends his runs is insane. He has scored 11 goals in 16 appearances so far and thats quality. However, the only thing I dont like about him is generally how many attempts on goal it takes before he scores. His the player in the prem with the most attempts on goals and the most misses.

Essay over, no bias :)

Edit: Cant stand Suarez / Torres diving.

Agree'd mate.

Pisses me off when players dive.

Suarez has been AWFUL for it this year though...

Belly flopping to the floor against Stoke after no contact was made lol.

Every game his done a horrific dive.

I no I thought it was surprising from Bale as well.

His a class player and I like Spurs. Would love to see them do well in Champions League.

Wish they never lost Harry though.

At the moment I think I'd take Fellaini over Suarez...

Fellaini is one of the best form midfielders in Europe at the moment. When Moyes goes, he will too. Possibly before.

Tevez has done worlds more than Suarez to date in terms of success and performance at top English clubs. I can't think beyond the Carling Cup what Suarez has won at Pool either?...

Plus Suarez has gone out his way to make himself the most unpopular player in the Premiership. John Terry can't believe his luck...

More ridiculous behaviour from Tevez this weekend. After scoring both his goals he mimicked driving a car. For those that didn't know, his Porsche Panamera was impounded by Police earlier in the week because he was caught driving without a proper licence. The same thing happened three years ago. He's a clever lad.

I think people have forgotton football is a contact sport. Now, Adebayor? That was disgusting. Potentially a career ending challenge. But Suarez's was probably just a yellow.

Suarez's tackle was nasty, easily an ankle breaker on another day. In the laws of the game, I would say it meets the criteria for a sending off. For me, a caution as a minimum because it needed punishment of some kind. He leaves a foot in quite often, as we all know...

Adebayors' also met the criteria of a red card IMO, so no sympathy there. I'm sure he just saw the ball and nothing else, but if the defenders leg (can't remember who it was, Vermaelen?) was planted in the ground, it would've been a fracture or break without question. No control over the pace or direction of the tackle and a launched missile through the air - that's not how you win the ball fairly.

I think this thread could have some mileage

Not that bad, but agree it should have been a yellow. Adebayor's was a two footed job with both feet a foot off the ground. A side impact on the knee could have finished that chap's career. Red card deffo.
