Next week I can use my dad's Dremel tool, so I'm going to mod the H7 xenon bulbs (make a tab on the other side), so I can place the 180 degrees rotated in the Depo projectors.
Anybody else already tried it to solve the shadows?

Tim - Let us know how you get on with the "6 o'clock" mod..

In other news - I found some interesting info on the transport office website regarding HID Kits. look here http://www.transportoffice.gov.uk/crt/doitonline/bl/mottestingmanualsandguides/mottestingmanualsandguides.htm So far, everyone has told me if that if you want to fit HID bulbs then you will need an autolevelling system and headlight washers to pass an MOT. The wording on the published MOT guidance seems to oppose that.

Copied from that page^:
Information
Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted with headlamp washers and a suspension or headlamp self levelling system.    Where such systems are fitted, they must work; however, it is accepted that it may not be possible to readily determine the functioning of self levelling systems.  In such cases, the benefit of the doubt must be given. Headlamp washers may work in conjunction with the windscreen washers (when the dipped beam headlamps are switched on) or by a separate switch.

Method of Inspection
Where HID or LED dipped beam headlamps are fitted, switch on the headlamps and check the operation of any headlamp levelling and cleaning devices fitted.

Reason for Rejection
A headlamp levelling or cleaning device inoperative or otherwise obviously defective.

Your views on this would be appreciated thanks!  :happy2:

Did the 6 o'clock mod yesterday. Easy with a dremel-tool.
The two ground shadows are completely 100% gone!!!
I will make a picture ASAP.
First going to take it to a garage that can adjust the lights properly, because I think they are aimed a little to much to the right (I have a lhd) and on that right side, I see a little brighter spot on the ground so guess the right projector is projecting a little to much an the ground on that spot.
Rest of the beam is now 100% as it should be!
No shadow stripes like I posted earlier (the photo).

Yes  I did and  I used a dremel to cut the new tabs on the other side of the steel bulb-ring.
