350z
« on: November 18, 2012, 06:38:29 pm »
Anyone ever owned one? My car has sold and ill need a replacement in a month or so , really taking a fancy to these..

I haven't driven one properly yet, but got my eye on one. Still thinking about a Subaru, only insurance putting me off a little. The 350z I'm looking at is a 2005 one.

Cheers again :-)

Cheers mate, you owned one? Would stick some winter tyres on , the Beemer is faultless with them on hopefully they'd do the job on one of these too

I like these  :happy2:

It'll be fine on winters, if anything it'll be a little better as the LSD will help spread the traction.
Sideways yo!

Found a really nice one , silver with tan leather , 35k miles , gt pack. Looks great as is but think carbon wrap the little spoiler on the rear , black wheels and mirrors and it'd look excellent !

They look pretty nippy on paper too !

Saw a 2005 one of those for sale in a garage here in Ireland a while back, was a lovely example and the garage was asking 8k euro's.
Thats prob around 6.5k queens money.
The reason high powered petrols are so cheap here is our motor tax system, it would cost 1500 euro to tax the 350z for a year.
My gti costs me 660 euro to tax for the year, crazy all together!!!

But yes, i would love to own one!

I had a 350 for a couple of years before my ed30, loved it except the rfl costs and was totally useless if there was any snow lying! I had it parked up for 8 weeks for that reason
Economy isn't terrible for the type of car and sounds great. Not many mods to be done if that's your thing tho

Would go mad modding , just powder coat the wheels, nice cat back , maybe a intake or something ..

Nothing too negative by the sounds if it then

Mate of mine had one of the first NISMO version in a really nice blue with 19inch wheels.
Was a stunning car and went well and had superb note when on throttle.
He said it was a bit on the dear side to run and was a bit twtchy in the wet,but he wishes he had kept it.I wasn't keen on the looks of them at first, but now they are starting to grow on me and I would probably have one,but not as a daily.

An intake doesn't do much more than add noise which I actually felt was needed in the mid range. I had an 06 plate and made a few tweaks and a remap and recorded 299.8bhp. It does go well but mpg isn't fantastic
I do regret selling it sometimes
