door warning lights
« on: November 18, 2012, 09:02:19 pm »
Hi
I want to fit door warning lights to my 5 door Edition 30 after seeing the 'How To' guide recently. I'd like to buy the looms and door lamps separately if possible rather than purchasing them as a kit from the US.  Does anyone know if Eddie NL still sells the lighting looms? I've tried PM'ing him but no reply!
Thanks
PR

Thanks Marko.  Just trying to keep purchases 'in the family' as I thought Eddie NL fitted door warning lights and I believed he cleverly made up the correct looms for front and back doors.
Before I send money to Singapore perhaps someone could confirm if Eddie is still making electrical looms etc?  Eddie?

Thanks

I bought some LED Door Warning Lights for my Eddy and had them fitted by Ed. The wiring looms supplied were to short for my 3dr so he made some new ones up and job done. PM him again and you never know. I did a review on the Door Warnng Lights with prices if purchased from Boldsport.com. Not expensive for the plain bulb version (inc wiring).....

^^^^ The light units are available and IIRC are around £10 each (although you would need to check that against the part numbers that i posted as i never bought any, you'll need to make up the wiring yourself as i don't think they are available as all im afraid. Easier to but the standard units and looms from Boldsport, 2 dr £25.18, 4 dr £40.93 both those prices are with the cheapest form of shipping.

I have bought items on 4-5 separate occasions from them in the past with no problems and usually receive the items within a week, even when using the cheapest form of shipping. As mentioned as their products are OEM but for the Far East market, for some reason they get all the trick bits as standard.  :sad1:
