Nope - 65w H7 Osram Superbrights - had them in all my other cars - and no issues with the MOT etc!

Saadn, it wasn't the ones on eBay you went to see we're they? I think another member posted about those too... Best to keep clear... I do find it highly frustrating when people say "a few scratches, but nothing to worry about..." usually means they're :fighting:

I was initially going the Hella/ Depo route but you have to make sure you get a quality HID kit, most 35w eBay ones give very poor light output with projectors... Now have a set of brand new OEM replacements... Waiting for good weather for the fit... :happy2:

I can't comment on the mk5 repair lugs, but i used the mk4 ones when I put Xenons my mk4, worked very well.

Where were these broken headlights you went to see advertised?

Just a heads up, There's some that keep popping up on eBay that you must avoid, check the for sale links section on here.
