There is a guide somewhere. The fuel switch is at the back of the drivers door pocket.

Yeah these ones are the same colour as standard but you can get them from sellers in Germany to light up any colour you want.

thanks nodz, I will look around for the fitting thread, just concerned if I buy them it may be hard to fit for a mod noob
noticed there is 2 sets on that site with a $10 diff but look the same parts ?
dearer one says 4 door but all same parts

As to your question regarding the different types of switches, they are from (or for) different cars. Some are from the Passat CC and IIRC the others are for the VW cars for the Far Eastern market.

will order the switches based on that now
I couldn't even access the vid you gave me as windows 8 has adobe compatability issues sigh, had to revert back to desktop and watch on windows 7
what a crock of sh*t windows 8 is I tell you
gonna overwrite it any day now

I have my headlights which stay on for 30 seconds and don't know if that is what they are on about on their site ?

cant see the diff in the 2 sets on the site, both say golf although it does say mk v1 ???
they are identical are they not

i went with the first link you have but could both be the same yet different price so im not sure...i didnt fancy having to return them so just made ssur ei got the golfv ones...dont forget fuel switch is seperate

I have e-mailed them and asked the diff, they both say mk6 so I have asked them that also
regarding the fuel switch I have asked them if they would swap the mirror switch for the fuel switch as its a dearer part anyway
I bought the mirror switch last week  :stupid:

Only difference I could see was the shape of the chrome tips.  One set has more of a curve.

ahh I see that now, one set has the chrome slightly going around into the switch, they look better I think
