Good deal?

Anyone ever had any experience with these speakers. They've been reduced from £400 down to £130 apparently. Seems a bit too good to be true.

they always used to get a half decent review - infinity that is not those specific speakers, for £130 you haven't got much to lose although I would check the diameters and the mounting depths first

didnt have chance to wire them up, as i sold the car to a friend, then bought it back of him a few months later, they will be good though as my mate used infinity stuff and it is always good, and those are one of there top end speakers

I used to run Infinity ICE, it was pretty good to be honest!

I would amp them up as speakers like these will need more power than your headunit can give.

I bought them off Nick but never got a chance to fit them, some people said you might need to cut the door skin to fit them but I dont know the truth in that. You can have the ones I had off Nick, brand new still boxed for £80 if you want a set. I'm happy for the moment running standard speakers with a sub and uprated headunit!

I'd be very tempted to take them off your hands but I don't wanna be cutting the door away. I'm not sure if anyone can confirm this?

Surely the adaptors bring the speakers back in line with the OE stuff?

In my old Ibiza I had to be careful that the magnet didn't get in the way of the window.  No adaptors were available back then, so I made custom adaptors from MDF, and they fitted perfectly.

Certainly look like a good deal to me - I'm not the biggest fan of the Infinity stuff (had it in my Scooby) as I find it a bit harsh on the hearing.

But ETTO

Good luck with the sale too

I had them in my Scoob too..... but conversely thought they were great. They were the 3rd set of speakers I tried after the OEM and a set of Pioneer..... Liked them that much I bought another set for my Civic Type R... Now looking to do the same with my Ed30
