Are they coilovers or just lowering springs?

It's a cup kit. Shocks and springs.
Only have rear on but that shouldn't make it sit higher should it?

It's literally the exact same if not higher

what car do you have, a gti?

If so the reason could be an incorrect part no. If they were off a diesel or somethin then they wouldn't lower it at all

May be a stupid question but why have you only fitted them to the rear.

Let me know the part number of the kit you bought and I will see what they are meant for.

Yes its a gti, i asked in a different thread what one to get and followed the recommendation
This is the link?

http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/en/Suspension-Tuning/Sport-Suspension/Sports-suspension-High-Tec-35-40-mm-fit-for-Audi-A3-Typ-8P-VW-Golf-5-1K-oxid.html?listtype=search&searchparam=FK99AI081

And the reason why i only did the rear was my mechanic had to leave after the rears  :sad1:

the part number is above man, you'll be getting my business after christmas, thats for sure!!
Actually thinking coilovers now for the drop im after

yes deffo the wrong ones. If ever buying springs and they say they fit an altea then they are NOT for the gti. They have to specify GTI. I found this out the hard way also.
