Is this what your after?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK5-MK6-MKV-GTI-FOOTREST-PEDAL-R32-TURBO-/150929019921?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2324121411

Or from gulfstream:
http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,4853.0.html
yes that's the thing I am after, interesting the old 2009 thread there was asking for £2 for each one yet the link on e-bay is £18 for what looks like the same item ?
£2 is tupid cheap and £18 seems more like it but I wonder if the item is the same as it looks like it and if so is it the quality of a £2 item ?
I see it has hollow holes unlike the other peddles which have raised rubber, obviously for grip on your feet but I wonder if you can get ones the same design

£2 was P&P, £20 was the actual price

nice, so is it just glued on then if you haven't screwed it in yet, I take it you just screw directly through the plastic do you ?
yours has the gti logo in red but the others are blank ? where did you get it from please

Yes currently on with double sided tape (although has been like that for 18 months :ashamed:). I have the same footrest as listed above bought from gulfstream. As I mentioned under the pic, I just put some red tape behind the GTI part of the footrest :happy2:

weird they are a diff shape, oem one must go higher up then as there is a curve in all our cars isn't there ?
think the non oem one actually looks better as you say

That OEM one looks like its for the LHD cars, which I think are a different shape.

Nodz I have a DSG but my footrest is the same shape as the Gulfstream footrest.

Must he for LHD cars then as the dead pedal would be next to the wheel arch not te centre console
